How to choose
Bordeaux's list points away from the city. Fourteen of the 23 experiences we list are vineyard trips: eleven name Saint-Émilion, six name the Médoc or Margaux, and three carry both. They cost €85 to €245, six finishing within five hours and eight running five and a half to nine. They also carry most of the reviews on this page, 7,420 of 10,758, and the most reviewed listing here is a four-and-a-half-hour run that lets you choose Médoc or Saint-Émilion, 1,499 reviews at €85. A fifteenth trip goes west rather than east: six hours to the Dune du Pilat and Arcachon for oysters, at €130. Median length over the whole page is four hours and twenty minutes.
The eight listings that stay inside Bordeaux are short and mostly about food. Four are eating walks of three to three and a half hours: the old town with wine at €112, artisan producers at €94.50, a full French meal at €85 and a bakery-and-history circuit at €60. A 75-minute tasting of six Bordeaux wines with charcuterie and cheese, €39, is the shortest thing we carry. The other three are a 90-minute river cruise at €19, the cheapest listing and the only one rated below 4.5; a three-hour bicycle tour at €36; and a two-to-three-hour walking tour at €99, the only guided history walk here with no food in it. Nothing on this page enters Cité du Vin, the Musée d'Aquitaine, CAPC or the Pey-Berland tower.
None of the indoor sights on our Bordeaux itinerary is sold through a tour on this page, so those are bookings you make yourself. Pey-Berland requires a prebooked timed e-ticket, and its stair route has 229 steps, worth checking against the visitor requirements before you reserve. Cité du Vin sells several ticket types: choose the permanent exhibition and check whether the Belvedere is included, since workshops and extra tastings need their own booking and more time.
Musée d'Aquitaine and CAPC both normally close on Mondays, which makes Monday the day to spend out among the châteaux rather than in the city. Check the CAPC exhibition calendar and its final admission before pairing that museum with Cité du Vin on the same day. All 23 listings cancel free; the median price is €99, and the three under €40 all stay in Bordeaux.

Eleven of our 23 listings name Saint-Émilion, so it is the best-covered thing on the page. Four are half-days of four to five hours at €85 to €96; the other seven run five and a half to nine hours at €105 to €245, and five of the eleven name lunch or an apéritif in the title. Each one starts in Bordeaux, so the journey is inside the price, and every listing cancels free.
Monday, if your dates allow it. Musée d'Aquitaine and CAPC both normally close on Mondays, so the city loses two indoor stops that day while the vineyard trips still run. Six of the fourteen finish within five hours and leave you an afternoon back in town; the other eight take five and a half to nine hours and will use the whole day.
No. Not one of the 23 listings includes admission to Cité du Vin, the Musée d'Aquitaine, CAPC or Pey-Berland, so book those directly. Pey-Berland needs a prebooked timed e-ticket and its climb is 229 steps, so read the visitor requirements before reserving. At Cité du Vin, pick the permanent-exhibition ticket and confirm whether the Belvedere is covered; workshops and extra tastings are separate and need additional time.
