1. What the Services Are

These terms cover the tripwoa.com website and the Tripwoa mobile application. Tripwoa is a travel planning, discovery and memory-keeping service: it uses AI to generate trip plans, and also provides place discovery, trip-memory storage and links to third-party providers. Tripwoa is not a travel agency, tour operator, carrier or accommodation provider. By using the Services you accept these terms.

2. Accounts

Tripwoa works without an account; some features (cloud backup, cross-device sync, Premium) require one. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. The Services are for ages 13+. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Account → Delete account).

3. Your Content & Cloud Backup

Photos, videos, notes and trips you upload remain yours. You grant us a limited, revocable licence to host that content solely to provide the service (storage, sync and display to you); we do not sell your content or use it for marketing. Unlawful or rights-infringing content is prohibited and may be removed. Public place contributions: if you explicitly choose to share a photo publicly from a place page or visit flow, you grant Tripwoa a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable licence to display that photo on the relevant place page. Public contributions are shown without your account name. Shared photos go through moderation; off-topic, rights-infringing or inappropriate content is not published or may be removed. Deleting your account severs the remaining internal link to your identity and the contribution may remain published anonymously. You can remove your own contribution in the app or request full removal via info@tripwoa.com.

4. Free Tier, Limits & Premium

The free tier is subject to fair-use limits (e.g. monthly plan generations) and may show ads. Limits may change to keep the service sustainable. Premium is a renewing subscription purchased through Google Play: price, trial and renewal terms are shown at purchase; cancellation and refunds are handled via your Google Play account under Google Play's policies. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled before the period ends. Subscription fees may change; changes are announced in advance and take effect no earlier than the next billing period.

5. No Bookings or Sales

No accommodation/flight/tour booking or sale happens on the Services. When you click a provider link, any contract is formed with that provider under its terms.

6. Sponsored Content & Affiliate Disclosure

Some places may be given extra prominence under partnership agreements (sponsored placement); such placements are indicated in the app. Sponsorship does not mean all editorial suggestions are for sale. Some links are affiliate links; we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

7. Accuracy, Freshness & Safety

Information may be out of date. Place locations, opening/closing hours, prices, entry rules, schedules and service details are compiled from third-party and automated sources; they can change at any time and may be incomplete or wrong. A place may have closed, moved or be temporarily unavailable. Before you go, verify critical details (opening hours, entry rules, prices, visas, flight status) with the venue's or provider's official source.

Directions are advisory. Routes, directions, distances and walking/travel times are estimates and may not reflect current road, traffic or on-the-ground conditions. While navigating, it is your responsibility to follow traffic laws, signs, official instructions and your surroundings. Do not use the app while driving or in situations that require your full attention.

Real-world conditions & personal safety. Plans do not evaluate real-world conditions such as weather, natural events, crowds, local security, regional restrictions or travel advisories. Checking official travel advisories and local conditions before visiting an area — and making your own safety and health decisions — is your responsibility. Tripwoa is an information and planning tool; it is not safety, medical or legal advice. In an emergency, contact local emergency services, not the app.

8. Place & Catalog Data

Our place catalog is compiled from open data sources. Venue information (names, locations, categories, descriptions and photos) is aggregated from third-party and open data sets such as Overture Maps, OpenStreetMap, Wikidata and Wikimedia, and is continuously organized by automated systems, including AI. Places may be added, merged or removed over time.

A listed place may be outdated. Despite our efforts, the catalog can contain places that have moved, changed their hours or prices, closed down, or no longer exist. Before visiting a place — especially when it matters for your day — confirm key details such as opening hours, prices and whether the venue is open at all from the venue's own website or phone, or from another reliable second source.

9. AI-Generated Plans & Content

Trip plans are generated with AI. The plans Tripwoa creates — including the day order, day titles and summaries — and the local tips shown alongside your plan are produced automatically, based on our catalog and the general knowledge of AI language models, without live verification. Automatic translations of these texts may also contain errors.

AI content is informational, not advice. Generated plans and tips are suggestions to help you plan; they are not professional travel, safety, legal or medical advice, and they can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. If a plan cannot be generated or delivered (for example due to a connection problem), the app may show a simplified, locally generated version instead of the AI-generated one. Always use your own judgment and verify anything critical before relying on it.

10. Navigation, Estimates & Flight Information

Tripwoa is not a navigation device. When you ask for directions, the app hands you over to a third-party map application (such as Google Maps); the route, traffic and arrival information you see there belongs to that provider. Whatever any app shows, obey road signs, local rules and actual conditions, and do not interact with the app while driving.

Distances and durations are estimates. Walking distances and times shown between plan stops are approximate calculations (straight-line distance with an adjustment), not measured routes; live walking or driving durations — for example to your next stop or to the airport — come from third-party map and routing services. All of these are estimates: the real route and duration may differ. Weather information comes from a third-party provider and is a short-range forecast, not a guarantee.

Flight tracking is supplementary information only. Flight status, delay notifications and "time to leave" suggestions are based on third-party data and estimated travel times; they can be late, incomplete or wrong, and notifications may be delayed or missed. They never replace the airline's official information — always confirm your flight with your airline and plan your departure with your own margin. Tripwoa's liability for consequences such as a missed flight is limited as set out in these Terms.

11. Shared & Collaborative Trips

Share links are visible to anyone who has them. When you share a trip with a link, anyone who receives that link can view the shared plan outline (personal content such as photos, notes, accommodation and flight details is not included). Where and to whom you send the link is your responsibility.

In collaborative trips, contributors are responsible for what they add. Joining a trip works through an email-verified invitation. Content added to a shared trip belongs to, and is the responsibility of, the participant who added it; see Section 3 (Your Content & Cloud Backup) for how your content is handled.

Your travel decisions are yours. For all of the features above, Tripwoa is a planning and information tool: decisions about where to go, when to travel and how to get there — and their consequences — rest with you. The limitation of liability in these Terms applies to all of these features.

12. Service Availability & Changes

The Services are provided "as is"; we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, technical failures or third-party outages may occur. We may change, suspend or discontinue features; material changes affecting paid subscriptions will be reasonably announced. Accounts that violate these terms or harm our systems may be suspended.

13. Limitation of Liability

Tripwoa is not liable for third-party services, price changes, cancellations, data-source errors or damages arising during your trip. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tripwoa is not liable for delays, costs, injuries or other damages arising from out-of-date place information (closed/moved venues, changed hours or conditions), from following routes or directions, or from the real-world conditions described in Section 7. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

14. Intellectual Property

The Tripwoa interfaces, brands and original content belong to Tripwoa. Photos and certain content belong to their right holders (e.g. Wikimedia contributors, Google, providers) under their own licences.

15. Acceptable Use

Do not use the Services unlawfully, abusively or in ways that harm our systems. Prohibited in particular: excessive automated requests and scraping, attempts to bypass limits, reverse engineering, fake accounts, impersonation, and artificially manipulating place popularity / community signals.

16. Feedback

Suggestions, ideas and feedback you send us may be used freely to improve the Services without any obligation to you.

17. Waiver, Severability & Survival

Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. If any provision is held invalid, the rest remain in force. Provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, liability limits etc.) survive account closure.

18. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer law remains unaffected.
