Prices are starting prices in EUR and may vary by date, group size and option. Check availability and full terms on Viator before booking.

Search covers the whole collection for this city, not just the experiences shown. Price, length and sorting are applied before the list is built; when a search is running, price and length are applied to the results on this page. The featured order may reflect reviews, popularity, bookings and payments from operators.

How to choose

Nothing on this page enters Tivoli or Rosenborg

Copenhagen's ticketed interiors are absent from this list. Nothing among the 24 experiences we list is built on Tivoli, Rosenborg, the Round Tower or the National Museum, and the only listing that gets you into any of them is the Copenhagen Card at €80.77, which covers 80-plus attractions and public transport for one to five days. What the list sells instead is the harbour. Eight listings put you on a boat: six canal or harbour trips sold on their own, one walking tour with a canal trip attached, and one bus ticket with a boat option. The five shared boats run 60 to 180 minutes at €28.66 to €89.13, the cheapest of them the cheapest listing on the page; a private charter is €411.38.

Six listings run six and a half hours or longer. Two cross the Øresund into Sweden at €95.99 and €107.64, both rated 4.8, and they are the only ones that leave Denmark; two go to the Møns Klint cliffs and the forest tower, priced €191.98 and €999 for the same pair of sights, the dearer one still unrated; one gives nine and a half hours to a castle, a palace, a cathedral and Viking ships. The median length across all 24 is three hours. Five listings are about eating, from a €68.56 pastry tasting to a €130 food tour, and a pastry baking class is the only 5.0 here. Two three-hour bike tours cost €47.86 and €47.99. The most reviewed listing is a €30.17 two-hour walk, with 3,133 reviews; the only one rated below 4.4 is the €30 hop-on hop-off bus, at 3.4.

What to know before you book in Copenhagen

The bookings that matter most here are ones no tour makes for you. Rosenborg sells admission for specific time slots because visitor capacity is limited, so fix the slot before you arrange the stops around it. Ordinary Round Tower tickets are sold at the tower's own ticket office rather than in advance, and the spiral ramp ends in stairs near the top, with no lift.

The tower at Our Saviour's has its own booking and visitor information, so check the access conditions before committing to the exterior staircase. At Tivoli, garden entrance and ride access are different products: choose an entrance ticket, a ride pass or a combined package, and check the operating calendar for your date. Christiania is a residential community, so keep to public spaces and respect the signs where photography is prohibited.

Quick answers

Is a canal tour in Copenhagen worth booking?

Six of the 24 listings are boat trips sold on their own. Five are shared, running 60 to 180 minutes at €28.66 to €89.13, and the sixth is a private charter at €411.38 for anything from one hour to twelve. The cheapest, a one-hour classic canal trip, is also the most reviewed of them at 4.4 from 2,133 reviews, while the three-hour Social Sailing trip rates 4.9 from 1,756. All six cancel free except the private boat.

Do any tours include Tivoli, Rosenborg or the Round Tower?

No. Apart from the Copenhagen Card at €80.77, none of the 24 listings is built on those three, so you book them yourself. Rosenborg admission comes in specific time slots because capacity is limited, ordinary Round Tower tickets are sold at the tower rather than ahead of time, and Tivoli sells garden entrance and ride access as separate products. Check Tivoli's operating calendar for your date before you fix the day.

Can I visit Sweden on a day trip from Copenhagen?

Two listings cross the Øresund, and they are the only two that leave Denmark. The Hamlet and Sweden day runs eight to nine hours at €107.64 and rates 4.8 from 2,565 reviews; the Malmö and Lund crossing runs six and a half hours at €95.99, also 4.8, from 703 reviews. Both cancel free, and both cost less than the €150.84 nine-hour day trip that stays around Copenhagen.
