Finding experiences in Dubai…

Prices are starting prices in EUR and may vary by date, group size and option. Check availability and full terms on Viator before booking.

Search covers the whole collection for this city, not just the experiences shown. Price, length and sorting are applied before the list is built; when a search is running, price and length are applied to the results on this page. The featured order may reflect reviews, popularity, bookings and payments from operators.

How to choose

Most Dubai tours are desert or water

Fifteen of the 24 experiences we list for Dubai never touch a city sight. Eight are desert safaris — dune bashing, camel rides, quad bikes and a barbecue camp — and seven are on the water: six yacht or dinner-cruise departures and one jet-car ride. One more is a full day out to Abu Dhabi, nine to ten hours. Against all that, exactly one product walks the creek, the souks and old Dubai, and at €15.50 it is the cheapest thing on the page. The median listing runs three and a half hours, but that figure hides two blocks: boats of one to three hours, safaris of four to seven and a half.

The desert block is also where the reviews are: those eight safaris hold 65,682 of the 94,799 reviews on the list, and they cost between €17.22 and €60.76, so what separates them is length and what is bundled rather than where they go. The four listings built around Burj Khalifa behave differently. Three are plain admission — level 124/125, level 148, and the 152 to 154 lounge, at €41.39, €102.16 and €194.62 — and those three are the only items here rated below 4.7, at 3.7, 4.1 and 4.4, and the only three sold without free cancellation. Resold entry to a tower that sells its own tickets is the soft spot in this mix.

What to know before you book in Dubai

At the Top sells its own tickets and offers several products and observation levels; the standard experience is level 124/125. Confirm the date, time and inclusions before buying anywhere, because the levels are what the price gap is made of. The three admission listings here add no guide, and they are the ones without free cancellation.

Old Dubai is the other place to check before paying. The creek crossing is scheduled public transport — the RTA's CR1 abra between Bur Dubai Marine Station and Deira Old Souq Marine Station — so confirm the current service rather than assuming a tour is the only way across. Dubai Frame and The View at The Palm publish their own visitor information; Frame timings differ on holidays and during Ramadan.

Quick answers

Which Dubai desert safari should I book?

Eight of the 24 experiences we list are desert safaris, and they are the most reviewed block on the page, with 65,682 reviews between them. They run from four hours to seven and a half, and cost from €17.22 to €60.76. The difference is length and what is included — dune bashing alone, or with a quad bike, a camel ride and a barbecue camp — rather than where they take you.

Do I need a tour to go up the Burj Khalifa?

No. At the Top sells tickets directly and offers several products and observation levels, with level 124/125 as the standard visit. The three admission listings here are resold entry with no guide attached, they are the three lowest-rated items on this page, and none of them carries free cancellation. Check the date, time and levels included before you buy.

Can I do a tour on a Dubai layover?

Two of the 24 listings are built for it. Both are private and both state a length running anywhere from two hours to ten, so they flex to your connection; one is sold with round-trip airport transfers. They start at €39.63 and both are rated 4.9 or above.
