Search covers the whole collection for this city, not just the experiences shown. Price, length and sorting are applied before the list is built; when a search is running, price and length are applied to the results on this page. The featured order may reflect reviews, popularity, bookings and payments from operators.

How to choose
Twenty of the 24 experiences we list for Glasgow leave the city, and that single fact pulls the median length to nine and a half hours. Eighteen are one long day out and back, seven hours forty minutes to twelve hours, EUR 59.42 to EUR 784.36. Nine name Glencoe, twelve carry Highland or Highlands, five reach Loch Ness; Stirling and Loch Lomond appear four times each, Oban and the Glenfinnan viaduct three. Two of the twenty are sold as shore excursions from Greenock. The remaining two stay away overnight: 72 hours to the Isle of Skye at EUR 246.01 and to Mull and Iona at EUR 651.20, the only listings here without free cancellation.
Four products stay inside the city, and all four are short: a 90-minute centre walk at EUR 16.64, the 100-minute hop-on hop-off ticket at EUR 23.77, a two-hour ghost walk at EUR 21.39, and a three-hour food and drink tour at EUR 136.67. Between them they hold 4,025 of the 12,148 reviews on this page, and the bus and the walk account for 3,603 of those. The absence is the city's own collections: not one of the 24 titles names Kelvingrove, the Hunterian, the Burrell Collection, the Riverside Museum, Glenlee, the cathedral, the Necropolis or Charles Rennie Mackintosh. There is no boat on the Clyde, and nothing private below EUR 616.80.
On the long half of this page you are paying for the driving. The median day runs nine and a half hours, and the ground repeats: the nine Glencoe days cost EUR 65.36 to EUR 112.90 in a coach seat, or EUR 784.36 with the Oban route to yourself. Only one title, the Outlander day at EUR 98.90, says admissions are included; 22 of the 24 can be cancelled free.
The venues no tour enters are hours work rather than ticket work. Kelvingrove normally opens at 10:00, and at 11:00 on Fridays and Sundays; St Mungo Museum opens daily and also starts at 11:00 on those two days. Glenlee opens at 10:00, Tuesdays at 11:00, and is ticketed separately from the Riverside Museum beside it. The cathedral is a working church, so check its seasonal sightseeing session, and Sunday with particular care.

Five of the 24 name Loch Ness. Four are single days of eleven hours forty-five minutes to twelve hours, at EUR 65.36, EUR 77.25 twice, and EUR 119.66 for the small-group day that includes a cruise on the loch; that dearest one also carries the most reviews of the five, 1,243. The fifth covers the same country over 72 hours with the Isle of Skye at EUR 246.01, and it is one of only two listings here sold without free cancellation. Either way it is a full coach day, so weigh it against the nine Glencoe days, which also start at EUR 65.36.
Four of the 24. The cheapest is a 90-minute city-centre walk with a local guide at EUR 16.64, rated 4.8 over 1,561 reviews; the City Sightseeing hop-on hop-off ticket is EUR 23.77 for 100 minutes and holds both the most reviews on the page, 2,042, and the lowest rating, 4.3. A two-hour ghost walk is EUR 21.39, and the only substantial in-city product is a three-hour food and drink tour at EUR 136.67. Everything else here is a departure.
No. Neither appears in any of the 24 titles, and nor do the Hunterian, the Riverside Museum or Glenlee, so those days are yours to arrange. Kelvingrove normally opens at 10:00, and at 11:00 on Fridays and Sundays; the Hunterian Museum is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 17:00, in the main university building, with its Art Gallery and Mackintosh House treated as separate venues. The Burrell sits inside Pollok Country Park, so allow the train or bus, the approach through the park, and a separate journey back.
