How to choose
London has the longest tours of any city we cover: the median length in our list is six hours. Ten of the 24 experiences leave the city altogether — Stonehenge, Windsor, Bath and the Warner Bros. studio are the recurring destinations. Five are on the Thames, three are food, and one is a walking tour.
That shape tells you what booking a tour in London is actually for. Inside the city, the big sights sell timed tickets directly and are easy to reach on your own. Outside it, the transport is the hard part — and that is what most of these products are selling.
Westminster Abbey is open for sightseeing Monday to Saturday; on Sundays and religious holidays it is open for worship only, so a Sunday tour cannot include it.
St Paul's Cathedral opens for sightseeing Monday to Saturday from 8:30 with last entry usually at 16:00, and the Tower of London opens at 9:00 from Tuesday to Saturday and at 10:00 on Sundays and Mondays.

Stonehenge, Windsor and Bath are each far enough out that the travel is most of the cost. A combined coach tour is usually cheaper and simpler than assembling the same route by train, which is why ten of our twenty-four London products are exactly that.
No. It sells timed tickets directly and the Yeoman Warder tours are included with entry. Book the slot rather than the tour.
Westminster Abbey is open for worship only on Sundays, so any itinerary that includes it needs a weekday or Saturday slot.
