How to choose
Six of the 24 experiences we list leave Prague for the whole day, and four of the six cross the border: two pair Bohemian with Saxon Switzerland, two combine Dresden with the Bastei bridge. Only Cesky Krumlov and Kutna Hora stay in Czechia. Those six run from seven to thirteen hours and cost between EUR 69 and EUR 144.70, which is most of the top of the price range. Everything else is short. The median length across all 24 listings is three hours, the cheapest is a 50-minute Vltava cruise at EUR 14.45, and the dearest is a four-hour food tour at EUR 148. All 24 carry free cancellation.
Inside the city the listings gather in three places. Four are built on Prague Castle, at EUR 44 to EUR 53, running two and a half to three and a half hours. Three go below street level: two medieval underground and dungeon walks at EUR 27, the cheapest guided tours here apart from a EUR 28 full-day city walk, and a communism tour that ends in a nuclear bunker at EUR 37.50. Three more are built on eating and drinking, from a EUR 54.50 pub walk to that EUR 148 food tour. Four listings put you on the Vltava, but the two sold as cruises alone are the lowest rated on the page, at 3.8 and 3.9.
Prague Castle circuit tickets are valid for two days, with one entry to each building, so if a tour includes admission it is worth asking whether the ticket stays yours for the next day. St Vitus Cathedral keeps shorter hours on some days because of services, so check the castle's list of current closures before you fix a start time.
Two interiors are guided-only whoever sells them: the Clementinum's Baroque Library Hall, Meridian Hall and Astronomical Tower, where tours run daily and start every 30 minutes, and Strahov, where a standard ticket only lets you look into the library halls from the doorway and going inside needs a tour booked in advance. Reaching the castle yourself costs 46 CZK for 90 minutes in the PID Litacka app.

No. Four of the 24 listings are built on the castle, at EUR 44 to EUR 53, and what they add is a guide and a fixed start time. A circuit ticket is valid for two days with one entry to each building, so buying it yourself lets you split the castle across two visits, which a single two-and-a-half-hour tour cannot. Watch for pickpockets on the busy trams up to the castle either way.
Four listings put you on the Vltava, but only two are cruises on their own, and those two are the weakest rated we carry: a 50-minute panoramic cruise at EUR 14.45 rated 3.8 from 372 reviews, and a three-hour buffet dinner cruise at EUR 58 rated 3.9 from 261. The boat time bundled into longer city tours scores higher. Every listing cancels free, so a cheap cruise is a low-risk booking rather than a safe one.
No. The Jewish Museum's sites, including the Old Jewish Cemetery, are closed on Saturdays and Jewish holidays. On other days they open 9:00 to 18:00 in summer and 9:00 to 16:30 in winter. The one Jewish Quarter tour we list, EUR 66 for two and a half hours, includes those admissions, so book it for another day.
