How to choose
Eleven of the 24 experiences we list for Seoul go to the Demilitarised Zone, and they hold 125,458 of the 142,820 reviews on the page, or 88 per cent. The three most reviewed products are all DMZ days, at 50,528, 28,488 and 25,666; the busiest thing that stays inside Seoul has 4,419. Six listings are city sightseeing tours, three of them naming Gyeongbokgung and a fourth sold as a royal palace day. Three are food-led. The rest is thin: one Han River night cruise, one baseball evening, one fourteen-hour run to Mt Seorak and Nami Island, and an airport transfer. Median listed duration across the 24 is seven hours.
That weighting changes what a tour here is for. Time out of town is cheap: eight of the eleven DMZ trips are shared departures under €60, five priced identically at €44.03, and the cheapest full-day city tour is €26.42 for seven and a half hours. What costs money is time with a person. The three food listings run €64.29 for two hours, €86.30 for three and €87.18 for three and a half, while the three private DMZ tours reach €174.37, €237.78 and €440.32. Note the gaps: nothing on this page names Changdeokgung, its Secret Garden, the National Museum, Bukchon or Gangnam, so those parts of a Seoul week are yours to arrange.
Three of the 24 listings name Gyeongbokgung and a fourth is sold as a royal palace tour. The Seoul Tourism Organization gives Tuesday as the palace's normal closing day, with holiday exceptions, so fix the date before booking one of those days out. Changdeokgung, which no listing here covers, normally closes on Mondays and takes a substitute closing day when a Monday falls on a public holiday.
Two listings include the Namsan tower. Its operator says general vehicle access to the mountain is restricted and sets out the shuttle-bus and cable-car approaches, so check whether a tour covers the way up as well as the observatory: they are separate parts of the visit. Bukchon appears in nothing we list, and in the city's designated area tourist visits are restricted outside 10:00-17:00, with Sunday a rest day for the alleys.

Eleven of the 24 listings go there, so the useful comparison is price and group size rather than itinerary. Eight are shared departures at €33.46, €35.23, five at exactly €44.03 and one at €57.24, running six to ten hours. Three are private, at €174.37, €237.78 and €440.32. Ratings sit at 4.9 or 5.0, the busiest listing carries 50,528 reviews, and all eleven cancel free.
The guided options are inexpensive for their length: €26.42 buys seven and a half hours taking in Gyeongbokgung, Insadong and the Namsan tower, and €29.06 a four-hour walk pairing the palace with a hanok village and Gwangjang Market. Neither removes the closing day, and Gyeongbokgung normally shuts on Tuesdays. For Namsan, check what a ticket actually includes: vehicle access up the mountain is restricted, and the tower operator treats the shuttle bus or cable car as separate from the observatory.
Two listings are explicitly evening events. The Han River night cruise runs five and a half hours at €51.96, though with 163 reviews it is the least-reviewed product we publish for Seoul. A baseball ticket with dinner and beer alongside the host is three to four hours at €72.44, rated 4.7 from 138 reviews, the lowest score on the page. For something shorter, the street food market tour is two hours at €64.29 and rated 5.0 from 1,734 reviews.
