Monuments and entry
- Use the Archaeological Survey of India’s ticket service for the monument and date you intend to visit. Check the ticket’s inclusions and the current admission arrangements; a general fort visit does not automatically include every museum or evening event.Source: Archaeological Survey of India · checked Sep 2026
- The Qutb site includes the minaret, mosque remains, iron pillar and other structures. Treat them as one archaeological-complex visit, and use the official visitor information when checking admission.Source: Delhi Tourism · checked Sep 2026
- Humayun’s Tomb is a substantial garden-tomb complex. Delhi Tourism provides visitor information and a link to ASI booking; allow time for the approaches and gardens as well as the main building.Source: Delhi Tourism · checked Sep 2026
The days these rules belong to
3 days in Delhi
Give Old Delhi a day of its own, allowing for crowded lanes and worship at Jama Masjid. A second day follows a northward sequence from the Qutb complex through Hauz Khas to Lodi Gardens. The final day starts at Humayun’s Tomb and moves toward India Gate, Bangla Sahib and Connaught Place. These are full sightseeing days; keep hotel journeys, traffic and security checks in mind when choosing your start time.
