Quick answers

Which days should I plan around?

Vizcaya is closed on Tuesdays, the Pérez Art Museum on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, The Bass on Mondays and Tuesdays, and the Barnacle on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so the plan works best when it starts on a Wednesday or later in the week.

3 days in Miami

Miami is really two cities across a causeway, so the plan keeps the beach and the mainland apart: day one walks South Beach from Ocean Drive to Lincoln Road and The Bass; day two starts at the Pérez Art Museum and the Freedom Tower downtown and moves north to Wynwood Walls and the Design District; day three heads south to Vizcaya and Coconut Grove and finishes with dinner and music in Little Havana. Vizcaya is closed on Tuesdays and the Pérez museum on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so put days two and three later in the week.
